DR JEFFREY RINK

Jeffrey has been facilitating ecopsychology retreats since 1998. It affords him the opportunity of integrating his interest in the natural environment and traditional African culture with his profession as Clinical Psychologist and psychotherapist, enabling him to utilise wilderness therapeutically. He has to date facilitated 60 wilderness retreats.
DR JEREMY HOLLMANN

INTERESTS: Rock Art, Culture, History, Nature, Wildlife
Jeremy has been researching and managing rock art for the last 18 year. Understanding and protecting our anthropological roots are priorities of his and the opportunity to share this with explorers of Southern Africa is central to his work. Jeremy conducts experiences through the Maloti-Drakensberg Mountain Range and beyond where he integrates anthropology with hiking tours.
DR LULU JAKENI

INTERESTS: Indigenous Art, Culture, Textiles, History
Lulu curates one of the largest indigenous knowledge library in South Africa which houses important spiritual and cultural art and crafts. She travels around the Zulu Kingdom collecting, restoring and protecting indigenous art on behalf of the University of KwaZulu Natal. This forms the basis of the experiences Lulu takes travellers on.

David actively supports the protection of human rights, with an emphasis on poverty alleviation equality. For the past 20 years he has worked directly with and in rural communities championing human rights. David gives travellers the opportunity to gain insight into South Africa’s socio-economic issues and participate in programmes that strengthen rural infrastructure.
